Chat Jam Manual (Emanuelle)
---------------------------
And the voice was Mary.
Mary will speak what is being typed into the chat room, and Mary is requested
to do so by a chat listener program.
And the voice was a G2.
The G2 plays a couple of patches that are changed by what is being typed into
the chat, the G2 is requested to do so by the chat listener.
There are a couple of special text commands for the chat listener:
to change a controller use (at the beginning of a line)
#cc-number value
where cc-number can be 1 .. 90 or so and value can be 0 .. 127
To play a note use (at the beginning of a line)
@note-nr velocity
where note-nr can be 0 to 95 and velocity can be 0 .. 127, velocity 0 means "note off"
To turn all notes off use (at the beginning of a line)
#allnotes off
All other text will be spoken by Mary as is, and they will change the patches
played as well. There are a couple keywords that will perform a special action.
Lines starting with /me, @, # or ! will not be spoken, they may still alter the
patches.
