DESCRIPTION

This utility assigns MIDI controllers and knobs to your patch files using user created
patch files as templates for how controllers shall be assigned to different modules.


HOW TO USE THIS UTILITY
-----------------------
1. Create the template patch files in the Modular Editor:
   Drop the modules you want to be affected by the program and give them a uniqe name and
   assign MIDI controllers and/or knobs of your selection to relevant parameters.
     If you, for example, want the program to assign controller 1 to cutoff regardless of
   filter module type (Filter A to F)  you have to create one template patch file for each
   filtertype, where each filter module has identical names. This is due to the fact that
   only one parameter can be assigned to a controller in the Modular Editor.
     Note that modules common in all the template patch files needs only to be included in
   one of the files, as you can select multiple files in the Open dialog box.
 
2. Name the modules in the patch you want to assign controllers/knobs to:
   Give those modules that you want to be affected identical names to those of the
   corresponding modules in the template patch files. 
     If several modules are given the same name the first one matching will get
   controllers/knobs assigned to it.

3. Assign MIDI controllers and/or knobs using this program:
   Select what you want to assign (controllers, knobs or both) in the Assign box and
   then select your template patch files by pressing the button named "Select Template
   Patch Files...". If you want old assignments in the target patch file to be removed
   check the "Remove old assignments" box. Controllers/knobs can now be assigned to patch 
   files by pressing the "Assign To Patch Files..." button.
     Tip: If you highlight the file selection area in the File Open dialog box and press
   [Ctrl]+[A] all files in the current directory will be selected.

!! Note: This utility will only work with Nord® Modular 3.0 patch files. !!


PROGRAM REMOVAL

Before deleting the program, select [Remove Registry Information on Exit] in the [Misc] 
menu and then exit the program.
